“Simi and Adesua Etomi are not Legends!” Nigerians react to #BeyondGreatness trend

Yes, you heard that right. Some Nigerians think that Simi, Adesua Etomi, Alex Iwobi and other young, talented Nigerians doing us proud home and abroad, do not deserve the legendary status. Shooketh.

The argument started when a Twitter user, @chydee posted several photo collages of several Nigerian talents doing us proud in different fields to try to point out the difference between Legends and mere Greats.

While some argued that these younger generation of stars do not deserve to be in the same category as their older colleagues, others believe that they have more than earned their place because of how much work they put in.

In our opinion, Simi is an extremely talented singer who more than deserves to be called a Legend.

In fact, everyone is a Legend.
