The Africa Day Benefit Concert held yesterday, and it was so fire!
The concert was organised by ViacomCBS Networks Africa in collaboration with YouTube to raise funds for children and families hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The two-hour virtual concert had a star-studded lineup featuring some of Africa’s biggest artistes like Davido, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Angelique Kidjo, AKA, Sho Madjozi, Adekunle Gold, and so many others.
All the artistes performed their music in different ways. Davido performed in a private studio, while Tiwa Savage chose to lounge on a couch as she sang.
However, one of our favourite performances was from Tanzanian artiste, Diamond Platnumz.
Diamond Platnumz performed his song ‘Jeje’ and gave us something extra!
His performance casually took viewers on a virtual tour of his luxury home. We even saw the kitchen!
