Harry Uzoka‘s dream of a global domination was put to an end yesterday, 11th January, 2018 when he was stabbed to death in what has been described as a “robbery gone wrong”.
According to Evening Standard, the 25-year-old British-Nigerian model was “found collapsed on a pavement suffering a knife wound to his chest in west London on Thursday afternoon.” Efforts by paramedics to resuscitate him yielded no result.
Before his death, Harry’s modelling career had been on the rise. He was signed to Next Models Management, Los Angeles; Uno Model, Madrid and Premier Model Management London.
He was fast becoming the toast of the big brands having featured in campaigns and worked with brands like Zara, Alexander McQueen, British GQ, Levi’s, Dior and more.
Condolences have been pouring in on Twitter by friends and fans who were inspired by his life.
See what they’re saying below.

I’m so sad about Harry Uzoka. He was really grinding and doing so well for himself at such a young age. No one deserves to die like that.

I actually can’t believe what’s happened to Harry Uzoka, like I don’t understand. A senseless act of violence has taken his life away, just like that. This guy was doing big things for himself and young black British models. This is such a big shame.

I’m sure he wouldn’t mind me sharing this. @HarryUzoka introduced me to ‘The Alchemist’ a book that changed my life. He was such an inspirational person in every imaginable way, so passionate about giving back. May his soul rest in perfect peace. #RIPHARRYUZOKA pic.twitter.com/rttmRynSA5

Instead of these young boys to say “wow you’re @HarryUzoka, you’re doing big things! What can we do to achieve success in the future?”
Instead they rob and kill him! For what? A phone?
What is really going on in their heads? What will make them realise their is more to life?

Harry Uzoka not only paved the way for black British models but also, set the bar for so many.
