Diary of A Gidi Girl – Girls Night Out

I have a very fun job. It’s so much fun that I don’t have a social life anymore, most of my turning up happens at the office, and it’s the same with most of my colleagues.

So when we found that Hard Rock Cafe Lagos would be hosting DJ Xclusive, we all decided to make a girls night out of it, get our socially dead selves back in the groove, and have quality fun. The build up was crazy, and everything went well until that night.

First to go wrong was our reservation, my girls just didn’t arrive on time, so we lost our spot and had to wait for almost an hour for a free table. Turned out the whole of Lagos wanted to get a piece of Xclusive, and I did too…Ha! he’s so hot, and creamy and juicy, but sadly he’s taken so I’ll stop there.

Next was the fact that Xclusive kept trying to please his ‘Oyinbo’ audience so the groove wasn’t as turnt as we hoped, but here’s the thing about my friends and I, we hadn’t gone out in ages, so we didn’t mind.

After pushing back a few shots of Tequila, we danced so much, I’m pretty sure we would have twerked to the Hallelujah chorus, if that was what was playing, we were that party starved. And I should add that while we were grooving, we kept scoping all the fine men…Sigh, add man thirst to one of our problems.

Fast forward to the end, after shaking bum bum and not finding bae, we decide it was time to go find another hot joint, to pass time till morning.

At least that was the plan, until I ran into this tall lanky dude in a baseball cap. Damn, I just wanted to make him into a glass of cold chocolate and drink him.

My friends were throwing Elegushi tantrums, tall lanky dude wanted us to go to an upscale club.

Common, I like hanging out with my friends, but as we are #SeizingBae2016  … Guess who I followed? ????
