Has a man who is above 40 ever begged you to carry him in a public bus? Have you ever been called a whore for refusing to let the driver and his conductor put a passenger on the extra seat you paid for? Have you ever been in a car with one of the passengers carrying a goat? I bet not!
Well, some of these people have experienced those and much more and they have shared their funny experiences in a Twitter thread. See below:
Taking bus in Nigeria is a different ball game. Abeg let’s share our most interesting bus chronicles. Number 1 for me on the list was a 40+year old man asking me to lap him from Obalende to Oshodi. When I said no he asked for an explanation. I laughed too hard.

One time one Mummy opened her cooler in the bus and offered me rice. Like better rice and meat. It looked nice oh but I didn’t know if my village people sent her so I had to say no.

I usually take my time when entering a bus to survey the people & condition of the bus but on this day I was in a hurry.
Got to the back seat & immediately the bus moved, I heard “blehhh”. There were 3 goats behind me.
Long story short, one of the goats licked my neck. ????????

Like they don’t pack 4 at the back when you enter ‘along’ in abuja…just make sure you are not on that third seat on an unfortunate day, you ll be like butter between two bread loaves
