Paris Fashion Week: Pharrell Williams Brings Out The Industry For His Debut Louis Vuitton Show

It was a star-studded show as top personalities from all aspects of the entertainment industry worldwide attended Pharrell Williams’ Paris Fashion Week Show as he made his debut as Louis Vuitton’s new men’s creative director.

His debut, which took place at the Pont Neuf Bridge in Paris, Paris’ oldest standing bridge, became the centre stage for some of the world’s biggest stars as they watched the music star and fashion icon debut his SS24 collection.

According to Pharrell, “If you appreciate Louis Vuitton, you’re a lover of curation. You love the product, but deeper than that, it’s love for the culture that embodies like-mindedness of taste.”

With the collection, he goes on to prove he is the perfect man for the job as he incorporated the iconic LV Damier pattern into his designs while infusing his signature streetwear style and bringing pixelated prints to the collection.

Aside from the brilliance of his designs, another thing that was a marvel was how star-studded the show was as artistes like Rihanna, Beyonce, Asap Rocky, Jaden Smith, Maluwa, Adekunle Gold were in attendance. Actors like Zendaya, Song Joong Ki, Sportsmen like Lewis Hamilton, Rashford, and models and top personalities like Naomi Campbell and Kim Kardashian were also in attendance.

Overall, it was a success and unarguably one of the well-attended fashion events of the year. Most importantly, it was great to see that the designer had paid his respect to Virgil Abloh, who had been the men’s creative director of the French luxury brand before him.
