Veekee James Sets The Bar With Traditional Introduction Dress

At this point, Veekee James needs no Introduction. From Osas Ighodaro’s iconic AMVCA dress that will go down in history as one of the most intricately designed dresses to Mercy Chinwo’s wedding dress, the fashion designer has helped every woman feel the best of themselves on their respective big days. This time, it’s hers, and she’s sparing no budget.

In true Veekee James style, her outfit was snatched and the patterns and overall structure of her outfit fit her persona to the letter. For her accessories, she went above and beyond as her stylist, Style By Seun, paired her traditional wedding attire with the $1000 Versace Embellished Medusa Slingback Pumps 110.

She further accessorised with the bridget metal shell clutch from Simkhai and completed her looks with custom-made jewellery from Lui Deo. Her jewellery pieces were carefully crafted with a blend of gold-plated pearls and emerald studs, encrusted with a blend of silver and gold studs.

Veekee James’ designs are not limited to womenswear, so it’s no surprise that her husband, Femi, wore a traditional attire designed by her. He paired the outfit with classic leather brown shoes.

On October 6, 2024, Veekee James revealed that she was engaged to her ‘answered prayers.’ Three months later, the couple have done their introduction at Veekee James’ hometown in Akwa Ibom.
