Wedding Of The Year? Fatima Ganduje & Idris Ajimobi’s Lavish Kano Wedding

Over the past couple of days, the ancient city of Kano witnessed a lot of fanfare as dignitaries from around the country thronged into the city for the wedding ceremony of Fatima Ganduje, the daughter of Kano State Governor and her lover, Idris Abiola-Ajimobi, son of Oyo State Governor.

From their pre-wedding photos to the henna party and all the activities leading up to the wedding proper, everything has, as expected been an exhibition of pure class, elegance and wealth.

Pre-wedding

The pre-wedding photos were shot by Big H Studios, and styled by Denola Grey with makeup by Doranne Beauty.

Henna Party

The bride’s arabian themed henna party was tagged Fatima’s Henna PlayDay. Fatima looked elegant in a dress by Betho Official, sporting a flawless facebeat by Jide Of St Ola.

The Durbar

The durbar saw the groom being crowned a prince by the Emir of Kano, just before he wedded his bride who is a princess.

He rode around town with his groomsmen in true princely fashion.

Kamu

For the Kamu, Fateema opted for an exquisite custom-made Fulani milk maid outfit by Deola Sagoe, whil Idris went for a two-toned blue agbada with red stripes.

Dinner

For their dinner, Fatima changed into yet another stunning Deola Sagoe piece while Idris changed into an Agbada. The dinner was anchored by IK Osakioduwa while Reekado Banks serenaded the guests.
