Wizkid Makes First Appearance Since Mum’s Passing At Private Chanel Event

Wizkid is back in the public eye as he attended the private viewing of Gabrielle Chanel’s Fashion Manifesto at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. This is after the Grammy-winning artiste lost his mum in August 2023.

For his first appearance, his stylists pulled out the tweed blouson from the Chanel Pre-Fall 2022 Collection. The embroidered haute couture was designed with multi-coloured crystals arranged in a graffiti-like format across the pocket region.

He accessorised his outfit with his $1 Million diamond chain designed by Elliante and stacked his wrists with diamond bracelets. He further accessorised his outfit with the Givenchy padlock embellished bucket hat and completed his look with the Toga Virilis Black Leather Studded Loafer.

The Gabrielle Chanel. Fashion Manifesto exhibition, which would open to the public on Saturday, September 16, 2023, was curated to celebrate the French couturière behind House of CHANEL and her impact on the fashion scene while honouring the evolution of her signature design.

Also, the exhibition would feature over 200 looks ranging from rarely seen pieces to accessories and perfumes.
