Five Of The Best Outfits We’ve Seen On The Nigerian Idol 8 Stage

Every week, the Nigerian Idol contestants are tasked to perform a range of songs that show their vocal strength and ability to diversify their sounds as budding artistes. With these changes in themes also come changes in costumes and a need for costumes that match the theme for the week.

In the past weeks, contestants have shown their stylish side with how well they’ve incorporated the week’s theme into their outfits. Here are five of the best outfits we’ve seen on the Nigerian Idol season eight stage.

Constance

Although she has now been evicted from the show, Constance is known for her top-notch fashion choices. From colourful jumpsuits to two-pieces the idol always makes sure to look chic. One of our favourite looks from the rising star is an all-white two-piece she wore for her last performance.

On that live show, she was singing Burna Boy’s ‘Alone’, a song off the Wakanda Forever soundtrack album. Her voice sounded as angelic as her outfit did.

Goodness

Goodness usually goes for the Cinderella-esque style, but on this day, when she sang Feelings by Ladipoe, the rising star wore a short fringe dress. She paired the dress with stacked ankle boots, and she looked every bit of badass in that outfit.

Precious Mac

There is nothing we love more than a well-made traditional attire, and Precious Mac did just that with her performance outfit. At the live shows, she was performing a song by Yvonne Chaka Chaka, and she slayed the performance.

The 90s afro look, the mermaid dress, the exaggerated sleeves, and the statement jewellery were all she needed to slay her outfit.

Ose Daniel

Ose Daniel has had as many great performances as his outfits, but one that stood out for its brilliance was his outfit for his performance of Fireboy DML’s Bandana ft Asake.

The idol had worn a matching outfit made out of bandana materials, and he also went on to style a bandana around his collar. Everything about his outfit was to the theme, and we loved it.

Quest

There is never a moment where the denim-on-denim combo does not work. For the top of the charts week, Quest wore a denim-on-denim look consisting of statement baggy jeans and a strapless corset denim top. She paired the top with a white studded round neck.
