It was a night filled with fun, laughter, Rhythm and Blues as Tee-A hosted his R’n’B Concert at Eko Hotels and Suites recently, with multiple dignitaries and A-list artistes in attendance.
Although guests were there for the music, it did not deter them from showing up as fashionable as possible while showcasing comfortable yet luxurious concert outfits and relishing exhilarating music experiences dating back to as far back as the early 90s.
With artistes like Chike, Cobhams, Styl-plus, Praiz, Alternate Sounds, Peruzzi, and more performing, here are some outfits that stood out at the event.
Mimi Onalaja
Nigerian actress Mimi Onalaja looked simple yet stylish in her two-piece outfit from Andrea Iyamah. She paired the Halima eucalyptus wrap skirt with a matching crop top from the brand. Mimi accessorised her outfit with a red Nanya bag from Ora Lagos and black heels.
Waje
Waje, who performed at the concert, rocked a two-piece set from Mrs Sandra O. She wore their Ramona blouse with costume-made deconstructed baggy pants in all black. The music star, styled by Damilola Oke, paired the outfit with lemon heels for a pop of colour.
Omawunmi
Omawunmi had on the perfect short dashiki dress for the event. She paired the outfit adorned with simple line drawings with sneakers – A simple concert outfit but a fashion statement nonetheless.
Chike
Chike performed in a full gentleman’s outfit. He wore a pink suit set paired with a white turtleneck and white sneakers. It’s not a concert outfit without the accessories, and he delivered, with his gold necklace worn over his turtleneck and chunky ring.
Hero Daniels
The MC went for a functional look, and we are not mad about it. The all-black long-sleeved senator was paired with leather ankle boots with white soles.
