This year’s edition of NECLive, scheduled to hold on Sunday, April 25, 2021, will combine a studio set-up with a live global broadcast. It will explore the theme “Building The Future” and focus on implementable and sustainable solutions to the problems faced by stakeholders in the entertainment industry.

The conference will feature discussions on entertainment as a tool for youth empowerment and innovative ways for Nigerian creatives to expand their network and generate income.

NECLive8 is organised by ID Africa in partnership with Huce Valeris, AV Edge, 7even Interactive, HipTV, Megalectrics, EDS, Livesport, Big Cabal Media and BHM, and with sponsorship support from Nigerian Breweries and MultiChoice.

NECLive8 will feature live music, drama and comedy. It will also mark the launch of NECLive Go!, a platform created to showcase and support founders solving the most challenging problems facing Nigeria’s creative industry. At NECLive8, ID Africa plans to premier the NECLive TV special, a production that highlights the most memorable moments from previous NECLive editions.

To watch NECLive8 and the live conversations surrounding this groundbreaking event, follow Neusroom or Netng on all their social media platforms, and remember to save the date – April 25, 2021 – so you don’t miss out on streaming live on the day of the event. It will be broadcast live on HipTV Channel 324 on DSTV and Channel 74 on GOTV, so be sure to tune in.

Over the past 7 years, NECLive has attracted more than 12,000 physical participants, 20 million viewers and audiences on television and digital. It is an umbrella conference for the entertainment industry in Nigeria, which continually discusses the trajectory of the sector and shapes the discourse and practices surrounding it.

#NECLive is the marketplace for innovative ideas, products, the unveiling of dynamic solutions that will connect, engage and encourage industry collaborations for sustainable socio-economic development; while offering a brighter future on the continent.
