Denola Grey is known for his chic style. Whether he is attending a high-profile event or just a party, his style simply exudes class and luxury. However, for the Milan Fashion Week, he went above and beyond and showcased an extravagance we only see once in a while.
The fashion consultant wore the Agiliga shirt from Fruche Official and paired it with an up-cycled patch light jacket from Orange Culture’s Spring Summer 22 collection at the Milan Fashion Week on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. He paired the outfit with purple pants and gloss shoes.
He did not only attend the semi-annual event, he strutted on the runway for the menswear brand Tokyo James, an eponymous brand owned by a British-Nigerian menswear designer.
The Autumn Winter 23/24 collections titled Code Switch showcased motorbike-inspired outfits that reflect the African creative scene. Tokyo James aimed to use the concept of code-switching to design clothing that serves as a form of protection in a world where people need to wear masks to thrive and survive.
Tokyo James’ collection mixes traditional silhouettes with modern aesthetics as they use bold colours and metallic zippers to create unique fashion pieces. Here are some of our favourite looks from the collection.
