Wizkid Brings His Socks On Sandals Trend To Gucci’s Milan Show

For fashion enthusiasts who followed the Normcore era in early 2014, pairing socks with sandals has always been a prevalent trend. Meanwhile, fashion experts have referred to the trend as a faux pas as public figures like Wizkid have made it a part of their looks.

Unlike his styling for fashion shows, Wizkid’s stylist takes simplicity to another level as he was spotted rocking the socks-on-sandals combination at Gucci’s Milan Show.

Gucci showcased its Spring Summer collection at the Milan Fashion Week under new artistic director Sabato De Sarno, who previously supervised the men’s and women’s collections at Valentino.

In the just concluded show, crystalized leather yet commercial pieces took centre stage as opposed to Gucci’s signature maximalist looks. Fashion enthusiasts have tagged the collection ‘too safe for a debut.’

With lots of stars in attendance, Wizkid was right on theme with his simple neon two-piece. He paired the all-Gucci outfit with sandals from Toga Virlis and accessorised his looks with diamond jewelleries.
