Janet Jackson Welcomes Her First Child At 50

Congratulations are in order for Janet Jackson and her husband of four years, Wissam El Mana. The pair just welcomed their first child, a baby boy who they’ve named Eissa.

A statement from her rep said, “Janet had a stress-free healthy delivery and is resting comfortably.”

Speculations about her pregnancy began early last year when she unexpectedly cancelled her Unbreakable World Tour to focus on her family. In her words: “My husband and I are planning our family. So I’m going to have to delay the tour.”

She officially announced her pregnancy in October by releasing a photo of her cradling her very visible baby bump to People Magazine.
