The second episode of The Real Housewives of Lagos (RHOLagos) is here, and it’s still all love and light with a sprinkle of drama with the ladies – considering how last season went, it’s a success. However, drama is brewing, as the housewives have chosen to shade each other during their diary sessions rather than to their faces.
This episode is centred around Chioma’s yard sale, as she chose to declutter her wardrobe and organise a yard sale where all the proceeds from the items purchased will be donated to the less privileged.
Here are some highlights from the episode.
Chioma and Toyin Lawani Call It Truce
The RHOLagos reunion was as chaotic as chaotic could be. From Chioma not holding back with her words and Toyin Lawani trying to hit her, the episode did not end well, and it has caused a rift among the ladies who seemed pretty close at the close of the first season.
With Iyabo Ojo as the mediator, the women got to meet at Chioma’s yard sale, where Toyin apologised for trying to hit her at the reunion, an apology Chioma accepted. Although it might take them a while to get them to where they once were, it’s a start.
Dr Rommel Is Shady
Our first introduction to Dr Rommel was not a great one, and it’s simply because he was shady to the women for no reason. He did not only imply that Chioma was not smart, but also seemed to have one negative remark or the other while Faith Morey was speaking about the ladies.
Considering he had not met the ladies before, it was weird. Towards the end of the episode, we got to see his fun side, but his previous comments still leave a bad taste.
Iyabo Ojo Officially Introduces Us To Her Man
Last season, Iyabo Ojo hinted about being in a relationship, but she was apprehensive about telling the world the details. This season, we did not only get to see her man, but we also got to see a glimpse of their joint family, and it was giving relationship goals.
She revealed her relationship with PaulO, the CEO of Upfront and Personal Global Management, during her 45th birthday, and their relationship seems to have gotten stronger since then.
Chioma’s Wardrobe Is A Fashion Girlie’s Dream
Chioma has a unique sense of style, and her love for luxury is apparent in her fashion choices. So when she said she was holding a yard sale to declutter her wardrobe and give the proceeds of the event sales to the less privileged, it looked like a thoughtful plan.
On display, she had dresses from the previous season with dresses from designers that cost millions of naira. During the auction, one of her dresses had been sold for 3 million naira, and the least expensive dress went for 550,000 naira. In this episode alone, she made over 5 million naira.
Faith Morey Has No Mean Bone In Her
If someone intentionally stepped on your train in public because they didn’t like the extravagance of your outfit, you are bound to feel some type of way about them, but not Faith Morey.
She had decided to have a chat with Iyabo Ojo afterwards to form a bond with her. Still, they never got to settle their differences as Faith had also invited Laura Ikeji, another person Iyabo Ojo did not quite like.
